Sustainability
As the world transitions toward a low-carbon economy, we're committed to reducing our environmental impact across our operations. As a responsible member of the food and beverage industry, we recognize and actively address the environmental implications of our operations and value chain. Our progress in this area is reviewed annually by the Board and disclosed in our annual ESG report. For detailed information about our corporate objectives, please refer to this year's ESG report and relevant sections.
The pandemic has fundamentally changed how we live and work, highlighting the importance of integrating ESG considerations into our business model. We're aligning our development approach with global sustainability trends, working alongside our community to create a greener future. This commitment has significantly shaped our sustainability approach and strategies.
Environmental, Social, and Governance
"The Board holds ultimate responsibility for overseeing the Group's sustainability and ESG matters. Its primary duties include analyzing material ESG issues and implementing related strategies, goals, actions, and policies. Additionally, the Board regularly reviews information on strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks across various issues, actively monitoring significant ESG-related risks and opportunities through board meetings.
To effectively fulfill ESG responsibilities, three committees operate under the Board: the Governance Strategy Committee, Crisis Management Committee, and Food Committee. These committees participate in specific ESG discussions and develop strategic decisions related to sustainability policies and corporate ESG reporting. The Board guides and directs the Group's ESG approach and development based on recommendations and insights from these committees."
